Time flies in this 2-hour entertaining culinary experience where you will learn, hands on, how to prepare a proper, traditional southern meal - and hear the rooted stories of cooking in the south while using the freshest, seasonal & organic Alabama farm-raised ingredients. Your hosts, Will & Hayley, have been featured in Birmingham Magazine, Food Edition, for their adored farm-to-table digital farmers market & are also hosts to popular food based podcast, Talk Foodie to Me. Because of their exclusive relationship with Alabama's top organic farmers, you'll cook like a chef de cuisine using the tastiest locally sourced ingredients Alabama has to offer. And, you'll sample raw southern staple ingredients throughout the experience. After preparing our southern supper, we will enjoy our creation by sharing a lovely meal together on the terrace overlooking our dense, private lot placed in the hills of Birmingham. But, what's a southern dinner party without a party favor? You'll bring back a "taste of the south" to your own kitchen, guaranteed. Because we work directly with farms, menus vary. However, we will send you a proposed menu prior to your date & are happy to accommodate as needed!

Pick your own time?! Contact me for a special time frame! We start by disinfecting the bottoms of our shoes to retain bio-security within our livestock. We will visit all of the animal pastures one by one where we will talk about how each are taken care of, what their names are and how they used on the farm. We will visit the house garden to see what is growing and discuss the importance of growing your own food. During the tour, we will have opportunities to feed birds, pigs, goats, and hold a baby goat or any other available babies along the way. Get hands- on experience milking a goat or bottle feeding a baby animal (when available). Seasonal Mocktails will be offered as well as a farm to table appetizer board. Many opportunities for photography so don’t forget your boots AND camera. Professional photos are available upon request through a local photographer. I provide a luxury beach picnic! I send out between 40-60 edited photos to you through an online gallery. All high resolution! I send out the photos in less than 7 day after the experience. This includes knowing the best spots on the beach to take photos, and a guided experience around the beach! What’s included: individual charcuterie boards for each individual, a cake smash, champagne spray, sunset photos, flash photos, luxury picnics photos, ocean/ scenery photos, and all the decor and flowers. After the experience you will be able to take home the flowers that were used in the experience. I've done elopements, bachelorette parties, couples, family shoots, grad photos, and proposals, but am open to anything. I will send you the exact location, that we will be meeting once you book.

You will arrive at our waterfront location which is on a saltwater bay that has 3 little uninhabited islands in it and is surrounded by luxury houses on the water. The tour is scheduled early because there’s a better chance to see dolphins, more calm, less boat traffic and not as hot. We do kayak instruction in a kayak on the water while guests watch from the land. After that we assign kayaks and start the launching process. We leave together as a group where we set the pace which is usually slow and steady. We paddle towards the islands talking and exploring and enjoying the beautiful scenery. Once we get to the 2nd island we park on a sand beach and take a walking tour around the island. Next we paddle onto the 3rd island and make a stop there. After that we cross the bay and get to some beautiful trees in a calm area where we take a short break and some quick photos. Last we leave again as a group and paddle down old river next to waterfront homes back to our location. Other things to note… The tour could take 2-3 hours We will get wet so no tennis shoes please There may be another guide named Tom he has been a guide for over a decade in the Orange Beach and Perdido Key area We take lots of photos and send them to you free of charge. After a warm-up to prepare for this true sport, teams will take off to experience a wide variety of carefully curated locations throughout town. You'll drive in your car (special carless version available on request) to the various checkpoints, solving clues and accepting challenges that involve getting outside your comfort zone at each spot! Both family and dog friendly, the game alternates between the indoors and outdoors with plenty of alternative spots and free choices too! You'll send photos to your host to document your progress. You can even interact with locals to solve clues! You won’t be able to avoid having fun, uncovering hidden gems and local secrets, making memories, laughing and learning along the way! We will take a 6 mile boat ride to Crab Island. There you will experience a one of a kind atmosphere surrounded by beautiful water and a knee deep sandbar. We will depart after three and a half hours and return to dock.

Enjoy a 45 minute axe throwing session with a dedicated axe coach right here in Spanish Fort, AL - only 15 minutes from the USS Alabama Battleship. At the end of the experience, you will take home a small glass jar filled with your own collection of micro shells.
