Core muscles are some of the most important muscle groups for anyone, not only for a professional pole vaulter. Whether you are an athlete looking to improve your performance or an infrequent gym-goer looking to lose a few pounds, this is an exclusive opportunity to experience and participate in my daily core workout. We will do several sets of ab and back workouts, as well as stretches.

We will start with easier exercises to warm up, and gradually move on to more challenging ones. We will be doing some yoga stretches between the sets, as I've discovered that this is the best core-strengthening sequence. All of my exercises have been refined from martial arts, yoga, physical therapy, and essential track and field workouts.

After the ab session is done we'll have some time for questions where guests can me anything about an Olympic pole vaulter's routine, diet, motivation, goal setting, my journey to the Olympics, and more.

I'm an Olympic pole vaulter and was a finalist at the 2016 Rio Games. I'm currently actively training for the 2021 Tokyo Olympics. I’ve learned yoga, meditation, and yoga philosophy from a Yoga master, Buddhist monks, and an image medicine master. I've been practicing this for over 10 years. I've also been studying and practicing trigger point and myofascial release techniques for several years throughout my athletic career. Additionally, I'm a martial arts expert and one of two certified instructors of the Warfare Combat system in the U.S. From these non-traditional approaches, I know how to sync the body with the power around and inside us. I've learned how to manifest consciousness to its full potential and I can help you incorporate these lessons into your life.

I really enjoyed this experience. Pauls is super friendly and, as you would expect, an expert on the mechanics of the human body. He tailored the workout to meet our needs, keeping it challenging but not exhausting and focusing on our overall core strength and health (through ab and back exercises, as well as deep stretching). We had a bit of banter, chatted about the Olympics and philosophy. I highly recommend it!

As someone who recently discovered AirBnB Experiences, Pauls definitely exceeded my expectations! First, I was over the moon to learn that I would be learning from an Olympian, especially with our session being one-on-one! Since the session began, Pauls effectively maintained clear communication and welcomed any and ALL questions that I had. I especially appreciated Pauls adapting the work outs to be appropriate for my abilities. 10 out of 10 with this experience!

Great class! Pauls has so much positive energy and truly seems to enjoy talking to people in class. He actually lives in the U.S., so timezones aren't an issue. A key takeaway is that abs are made in the kitchen! Learning the right exercises and stretching is super important, but diet is also key. We learned new workout routines and purchased his e-book afterwards, which is an easy read.
