Task templates allow you to set a checklist of steps and pre-define task settings (ex:. listings that the task applies to) which you can use when you create tasks in the future.

Additionally, you can schedule a task template to create tasks automatically for every new reservation.

How to create a template

You need to be part of a hosting team, and have any role besides “Tasks” (learn more about hosting teams on Airbnb) in order to create or edit a template.

To create a template:

1. Log in to your account on a desktop computer or browser (not using the Airbnb app) and go to Tasks
2. Go to Templates using the left-side menu
3. Click or tap Create a template
4. Follow the steps by filling in information and making your selections

The template will now show up on the Templates page and will be available for you to select when creating new tasks.
