The Nook is a private standalone sleep out with its own entrance. It's a decent queen room with ensuite, a comfy bed and good shower. It sits beside our family home, looking over the garden. Parking is on the street. Self check-in is an option, but we enjoy meeting our guests. The Nook sits in a pretty garden, with large trees and lots of birds. It's just a 10-15 minute walk to the supermarket and to Havelock North village with its cafes, great restaurants and boutique shops.

Tempat
We live in a pretty early 1900's villa, set in an established tree lined garden, visited by Tui's and many other birds. Running alongside us is a small stream, feeding into the larger Te Karamu stream. We have a very friendly dog and a typical cat. Our children enjoy playing in the garden during the day. However we definitely take our guests relaxation and privacy into account :-)

The Nook is detached, sitting on the edge of our garden. It sits alongside our house, facing away out towards the garden, so it's quite private. Inside is fresh and inviting with;
* a super comfortable queen sized bed
* electric blanket with body & feet zone
* freeview TV (with USB port),
* unlimited free WIFI
* ensuite with large shower, awesome water pressure
* shampoo, conditioner, body soap & hairdryer
* linen and towels
* table & chairs for two
* small bar fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle with complimentary tea and coffee (no oven)

In winter there is a queen sized electric blankets and a good heater, as well as a feather duvet and blankets to keep you toasty warm.

While we can't accommodate extra adults we can sometimes make an exception for under 1 year olds by arrangement.

We are central to many of Hawkes Bay's main attractions with wonderful wineries, Te Mata Peak, Cape Kidnappers, the Tuki Tuki River, Art Deco culture, and golden beaches only a stone's throw away.

We're a comfortable 10-15 minute walk or two minute drive from the village along a beautiful, flat and tree lined street. In the village there are multiple restaurants, cafes, bakeries, shops, post office, chemists, a supermarket and a couple of good pubs.

Hi, we’re Kirsty and David, and have our three young children (8, 7 and 4) who just love meeting our guests.

We enjoy meeting our guests where possible, having that social interaction is one of the reasons we enjoy doing Airbnb.

We have three pets; Gryffon - our large, goofy dog (behaves like a puppy), Merlin - the aloof rat catcher and Bob the goldfish.

We enjoy BBQ's, great music, good company, the odd wine and living the dream. We have a wonderful home and large garden shade by a huge Walnut tree. The Tui's sing often, with the occasional Morepork at night. We reckon we’re living the good life!
