Each Villa is a PRIVATE (NOT SHARED) space with kitchen, living, dining, bed & bathroom. Only the garden and pool areas are shared /common space. Imagine an upper floor, light & airy Caribbean-style studio apartment tucked away in mid-town Cozumel where all the locals live & work. Owner/operator & long time islander Sherri Davis has created an ambiance that relaxes her guests into island living culture and experiences they return to year after year.

The 6 different 1BR/1Bath IslaMar Vacation Villas were designed for the islander in all of us. Set your watch on Cozumel time and drift off in your hammock, rocked by a gentle Caribbean breeze. Relax in the pool under a refreshing waterfall as you peer through swaying palm trees into the clear blue Mexican sky!

Over the past 3 seasons IslaMar has been completely remodeled including all new flooring, granite in the kitchens and all new bathrooms and fixtures PLUS an all new pool area and big screen plazma TVs!

Our neighbors are what make our area special! Located just outside the prime tourist district of Cozumel, IslaMar is situated in an ordinary neighborhood with regular folks all around just going about their daily lives. Neighbors are always smiling and so helpful to our IslaMar guests. Our neighborhood is close enough to the main tourist district that guests simply walk most everywhere yet they can leave anytime and getaway to a real, authentic island neighborhood. We have a lovely park just around the corner where IslaMar guests can enjoy free Wi-Fi and watch the kiddos play.

Howdy Ya'll! I'm Texan Sherri Davis and I have lived on the island for over 25 years. I spent my early years in Cozumel working as a business consultant and PADI Dive Instructor. Currently I own/operate several island endeavors including: IslaMar Vacation Villas, Palmar Snorkel Beach, Patas & Alas Butterfly Sanctuary and the Cozumel Insider web domain. I enjoy scuba diving, traveling the interior of Mexico, creative writing, discovering nature and supporting local conservation efforts such as my coral reef Restoration project, the Cozumel Marine Turtle Salvation Program, reef monitoring and beach clean up events here on the island. Cozumel is a special place that will capture your heart ~ if you let it! I would love to show you the Cozumel I know. A relaxed place with neighborly people where even those on the tightest of vacation budgets can enjoy themselves. Let me and my staff show you Cozumel from our side of town ~ where the locals live and eat and play away from the expensive tourist zone.
