This affordable micro home is the perfect place to stay while enjoying everything Taos and the surrounding areas have to offer. Our bright and cheery space takes full advantage of all the New Mexico sunshine with skylights and a large window. The space is about the size of med-sized Airstream, and features a fully equipped kitchen, including dishware, gas range, oven, microwave and refrigerator - everything you need to cook! Comfy double size bed and linens sleeps a single or a couple. Robes and slippers are provided. There is also a washer/dryer. The building is tucked behind the main gate to the property, and shares the driveway with the main house.

Guests enjoy the experience of living in an exquisite tiny house. It's perfect for two people for short visits, or one person for extended stays. Please inquire about special monthly rates ( 28 nights +) too!

Taos has many exciting tourist attractions, but if you chose to stay in, take advantage of the lovely yard and seating areas. It is located in Taos' oldest neighborhood, Ranchos de Taos, one block from the most photographed church in the southwest. It is also just two blocks from the bus stop (bus runs Mon-Fri.) if you don't have a car.

"Ranchos" has the oldest buildings in Taos Valley and three of them house restaurants. Old Martina's is a good choice for their early dinner special (and sometimes they have music and dancing in the dance hall. The Trading Post Cafe (sign in front says ITALIAN RESTAURANT) is not really very Italian - it is my favorite neighborhood restaurant. Also there is great New Mexican food at the Ranchos Plaza Grill which looks onto the Church. I can never decide which is better, the green or red chili so I ask for both ( referred to as Christmas) on the blue corn chicken enchiladas.

I like to meet guests upon their arrival, and help guide them to the places and activities in town that fit their travel aspirations. I've lived in Taos for many decades, and I really know my way around. I live in a house on the property, but respect my guests privacy. I work full time in town, but am almost always available to duck out and help guests when needed.
