Book Keepers Holiday Cottage, one of Waikerie 's original homes has been restored to retain many original features with a modern touch making life easy.
Spacious cottage with a friendly ambience, comfy leather chairs, sofas and very comfy beds.
Mod cons, reverse cycle heating/cooling, alternative heating and cooling. Overhead fans in most rooms.
Fire place, wood supplied.
Polished wood floors, throw rugs.
Breakfast not included. A bond maybe required

Book Keepers Cottage is only one street from the main shopping centre. You can leave your car at home and walk to all venues.
Take a picnic to the river or have a meal at the Hotel or one of the cafe's.
A great place to relax and view the night sky from the balcony verandah, have your
morning coffee overlooking the Waikerie Valley.

Waikerie is a lovely old River town with much to offer its visitors. The locals are friendly and helpful and the amenities are plentiful
Its the best town to explore the Riverland from with both "Up River Towns" and "Down River Towns". Wet lands and Cellar Door venues
Locally we have great food shopping, gifts, clothes and home wares, cafe's and Hotel dining. Also there are many clubs RSL, Golf, Gliding, Football, Bowls.
Spoil yourself with a day massage or some local produce.

My husband and I live in the Riverland South Australia on a very pretty farming property not far from the River Murray. We grow wheat and sheep and have a Kelpie dog Kit and cat Louie.
I am a retired Midwife and love a project.
We have 3 country cottages all unique in their own way.
I have an Australian Stock Horse Stud, stallion is 20 this year, still working.
Also have a 36 yo retired work horse called Fed Frog. Froggy for short.
He's still very fit and quite fat.
I love sitting with my feet up, a great novel and a cup of good coffee, but generally find there is too much to do.
I love travelling and staying in all sorts of places and accommodation.
I also love giving our guests the same experience.
I very much enjoy what I do.
