Two bedrooms are available for guests and there is a fold-out sofa bed in the sitting room for additional guests. This private home has two bedrooms and one bath available. It is my home but it is your home when you visit. It is beautifully decorated and has a very welcoming feeling. Each bedroom has a keyed lock for your privacy. Common areas are spacious and have Roku (Netflix and more),not cable.

Enjoy your coffee on the spacious back porch. Listen to the birds call and watch the squirrels play. Play golf at the Pinewood Gulf Club, 4 minutes away. Enjoy the park just two blocks away. Perfect for a picnic or just a pleasant walk on trail.

SECURITY CAMERAS
are in common areas only. They are not monitored but are on the Cloud in case of break-in, property damage, or emergency. These cameras are for home security but also to protect you. They are the same kind of security cameras you would find in a hotel lobby, bank, restaurant, airport or hospital common areas. They are designed to protect both the guests and the hosts. This is my personal home when it is not in use for Airbnb and therefore I have a need for the cameras. If you have any issue with this, please contact me before booking. Please DO NOT unplug the cameras or face them in other directions.

A cat lives on the property but she remains outside.


AMENITIES

Coffee and tea service is provided. The bathroom contains ample towels, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner. In addition, I have a basket with toothbrushes, razors, make up remover, emery boards, toothpaste, hair dryer and other necessities that you may forget to bring.

The home is located where I-10 and I-12 come together so it is super convenient for getting places. Slidell is a quiet, bedroom community with good restaurants and the Old Town Antique district. Be sure to try some of our fresh local seafood at our fine restaurants. Go on a Swamp Tour teeming with alligators, egrets, turtles and other Louisiana wildlife. It is a fun experience you will not soon forget. Ride bicycles on the historic Saint Tammany Trace which was once part of the Illinois Central railroad.
