This quaint, convenient North Padre Island condo brings reminders of the tranquility under the sea, with its turquoise accents, sand-colored floor and ocean mermaid bedroom, it will make you feel right at home when visiting our quick access neighboring beach that surrounds this great location. This is a very unique converted efficiency, small one- bedroom cozy condo that provides privacy when needed unlike many of the other studio-type condos available on the Island. Because of its uniqueness in design, it has two very comfortable & stylish queen size sofa sleepers in lieu of a bed. There are two pools available during your stay which include the colorful indoor heated pool that is a hit with kids and adults both for leisure and exercise. The outdoor pool has a great view of the open ocean, marina and by the way, the sunset is free with your stay! Bring your boat or jet ski and park it for a reasonably nominal fee per day, fish off our private pier for free and filet your catch right at the pier ready to cook in the convenient, equipped full- sized kitchen. Location, location, location: North Padre island is right outside of Corpus Christi, TX over the JFK causeway nestled in between Sonic and Whataburger! Beach access is 1.5 miles from Mustang Island; the exuberant waves of White Cap beach are just 1 mile away; 12.5 miles to the National Seashore; Bird Island is also within the National Seashore where the best wind surfing happens. Also, we're just a few short miles from Port A where you can catch a ferry boat ride to Rockport! You won’t ever run out of fun things to do when you book this North Padre Island getaway. Our sweet condo with the “Under the Sea” theme will keep you in a joyous, relaxing mood because after fun in the sun you can retreat to its little bedroom of privacy, which includes: two sofa sleepers that easily sleep 4 guests that are available for sweet “Under the Sea” slumbering in the living room and back bedroom. This sweet condo has two very smart TV’s: One 50” in the front living area that includes basic cable and one 32” in the back bedroom already equipped and connected to WI-Fi ready for your viewing and easy access using your Netflix or Amazon Prime account. So grab your bathing suits; fishing gear; your spirit of adventure along with some vacation relaxation time and come enjoy our oasis “Under the Sea”.

Our Condo is located within walking distance (just a few minutes away) from Schlitterbahn Waterpark and its amenities. Moments from great restaurants, bars & fast-food places to enjoy. Besides the Whataburger & Sonic, right next door on either side, there is a delicious custom pizza restaurant, a café/bistro & souvenir shops within walking distance from us.

My husband and I have been married for many years & are both born & raised right here in San Antonio. We have owned our beautiful condo here for several years now. We both enjoy rewarding professional careers & know San Antonio very well. We are like lobsters; we enjoy traveling; spending time with family and friends. I love to read all kinds of books. My husband enjoys surfing - the internet for his reading enjoyment. We love walking, riding our bikes and traveling to visit different cities around the world. We recently returned from Europe where we visited London & Paris & have visited many other cities including, San Francisco, Miami, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Washington D.C., New York City, to name a few. Have to say though, out of all our many travels, our favorite has always been New York City. We love the action of this vivacious American city of ours, as well as the diverse entertainment the Big Apple can offer. We also enjoy visiting other resorts and swimming destinations, which includes our beach homes on the Texas Gulf Coast, where we always like to spend time in the Spring & Summer each year. Even though, our hearts are always in our beloved City of San Antonio where we have chosen to live permanently almost all our adult lives. We think San Antonio is the best - because we call it home. We love music and we love to boogie on the dance floor. It is why we love the many music venues all over that San Antonio has to offer. It offers great live music as well at these many locations. We dance to all kinds of music and listen to Mexican Folk, Tejano, Reggaeton, Contemporary, Country music and we love POP, too! We like festivals with lots of good food and good music. For brain recess, we enjoy passing the time streaming our favorite movies and shows. We watch crazy reality shows together, mostly because we cannot believe that stuff is real. My husband loves ESPN, News Channels, the History Channel, Animal Planet and NatGeo, of course. I love anything that makes me laugh. We love to entertain at home in San Antonio and boy, can we throw a party! We have been known to host parties in our home that last until 6:00 in the morning!! Now, don't go thinking crazy stuff. Our parties are about straight up laughing out loud, wonderful conversation and story telling!! I think that's why we love our beautiful City of San Antonio, so much; it is non-stop entertainment and always something fun to do. We also swim, relax with a cool drink on the Padre Island beach, enjoy the excellent restaurants San Antonio has to offer & regularly visit historic sites in our great city. Then we come back to our home and rest, relax and recharge! We hope our guests will enjoy the same experience. We have worked very hard to earn the designation by Airbnb as being Superhosts. That is because amongst other things, we know that Guests will appreciate and respect good customer service. That being said, we expect to deliver good customer service to you as your Hosts. We will do all we can to provide a great experience in our beautifully designed condo. Remember, San Antonio has earned the stellar reputation of the big city (7th largest in the nation) with a small-town environment. You'll see what we mean by that when you come visit our condo. Stroll along the Riverwalk, the Mission Reach & absorb the colorful history & culture of this great City. Remember, the view is always better when you walk as much as you can.
