The units offered are the 1 room studios as below. They have a queen bed plus 2 chair sleeper couches only suitable for kids, so 4 maximum. The Studios are attached to the last 7 chalets on the right of the U Lodge layout. They have 2 solid inter leading doors connecting them.
Unit modules are Fr - Su night, and Mo - Th night, and are for specific units. If booking across modules, please check 1st that the unit numbers are the same !

Wednesday afternoon Game drive Plus supper in the Boma in the Park (no fences) at a special 2019 rate of R650pp to occupants of these timeshare units only...normally drives are R550pp and midweek buffet supper R360pp

Covid update end July: The timeshare section of the Lodges did open a month ago, then 10 days later the Government closed them down again. So though the Park is open, all the accommodation around the Park is not. As it can open any time, I am leaving my listings as available. Please just check with me before booking, thanks.

There is also a small business centre that guests can use that has 2 desktops.
You do get limited wifi on check in...more is available at R75 per 500Mb and R150 for a Gig
Note that wifi is pretty slow, but you will be able to do your mail.
Lastly note that the portable wifi hotspots that work everywhere in the world, probably won't work at Bakubung.

Pilanesberg of course is the special place !
16 March 2022 - Currently still no access to Sun City due to Covid
So though Sun City Resort is 4km away; You need to go around, 10 km to the front gate. Entrance applies and also for the Valley of the Waves, R400pp, and has to be booked online before arrival as number of day visitors are limited.
There are like a 100 food places there.
Croc farm just inside Sun City's entrance.
Predator Park 15km from Bakubung, interesting and fairly priced but not my kind of thing.
Decent shopping Center just outside Sun City with a good Spar Supermarket. As unemployment in the area is about 80%, do not leave anything in the car.

I'm a Tour Operator that just loves Pilanesberg, so I moved to the area by choice in 2006. Since 2003 I've clocked 13 000+ hours in the Park, and have had the most amazing sightings! Currently I'm there about 1/2 of every year. Along the way I have kept investing in timeshare units around the Park, so this is mainly what is on offer. And as I have a lot of units banked, I can also probably swap out for dates you need.

I live just outside the NE gate, so 30 km away.
I will make an effort to come meet you just after arrival as I feel it will be the least I can do.
I am however only there about 1/2 the time this year. For 2019 I have another 2 x 3 weeks in Germany, 2 weeks Kruger, 2 weeks Cape Town, and I'm also installing water tanks and a solar geyser myself at my house just outside ORTambo.
I will be available on w/app 24/7 except when in the Park or in Kruger on tour - then only at night after 19h00.
