At 44th Parallel, we offer cozy, mountain elegance to make you feel special & welcome. We're in Terrace Lakes Resort, minutes from the pool, golf course & restaurant. Our Guest Pass gives 1/2 off at the pool.
You'll have the sunny, ground-floor suite all to yourself - private entrance, on-sight parking & high-speed Wi-FI, two plush bedrooms & a kitchenette. Plus, we do the dishes! Room service in the woods, who knew?

We are a full-service Airbnb, no need to strips beds or do the dishes, and in winter, there's no need to shovel snow either. We'll take care of you just like an old friend would.

The day-light basement stays cool in summer and cozy warm all winter. There is a sunny, spacious floor plan with a living room, kitchenette, dining area, and two luxurious bedrooms.

For indoor entertainment, we have high-speed Wi-Fi, Roku, and a DVD player with a great selection of films and documentaries. There are also games, books, magazines, playing cards and puzzles, to help you unplug, enjoy the forest and each other.

The kitchenette includes a refrigerator, microwave, hot plate, coffee maker, and a toaster oven/air fryer. We provide drinking water, coffee, snacks and homemade treats. Plus, we do the dishes. Room service in the woods!? Who knew?

Each bedroom has queen size bed, top quality bed linens, and charming décor. There is one bathroom with plenty of hot water and fluffy towels.

Outside we have a BBQ, a fire pit, a garden table and dangling lights, just for fun.

The pool and the golf course are a hop skip and a jump down the hill - about a 10-minute walk, or you can take your car. Pool passes and towels will be waiting for you inside. The pass gives you half-off the price of admission for the whole group, and it’s valid all day. So, once you’ve paid admission you can come and go.

Family sledding is open on the hill above the golf course (it’s free) and the bar overlooking the sledding hill and the pool is open on weekends.

There’s plenty to do all year - hot springs, rafting, fishing, cross-country skiing, snow machines & more. 44th Parallel is the perfect spot for a peaceful mountain getaway.

Garden Valley is known for world class white water kayaking. You can also enjoy rafting, fishing, hiking huckleberry picking and Morels in the spring. Plus, the whole region is dotted with natural hot springs. There's lots of fun here waiting for you!

In terms of location, the 44th Parallel is a prime spot for outdoor enthusiasts! We are about a 45-minute drive from Cascade Lake, and about 90 minutes from McCall which boasts Payette Lake and a Brundage Ski Resort. We are only about 90 minutes from the heart of the Sawtooth Recreation Area, and an hour from Emmett, where you can pick cherries and peaches in the summertime.

If you’re feeling like something more low-key, we're just a 10-minute walk from the thermal swimming pool (open year-round) and the golf course clubhouse, which has a restaurant, bar, pro shop, and plenty of tee times.

Greetings! I've recently returned from a year abroad studying food and culture in the Republic of Georgia. My dad and I thought it would be fun to run a little "guesthouse" while I turn all that great research into a book.

I have traveled extensively and speak a little bit of a lot of languages. I’ve lived and worked in Amsterdam, Japan, Paris, South Africa, and Tbilisi, Georgia.
