A tranquil getaway, amazingly peaceful - even though Amtrak passes by twice a day (not at night). Conveniently located within 2-5 miles of amenities, outdoor spaces, hiking, & more. If you're in town for NMHU events, you will be 1.5 miles from campus.

This mobile home is a true mobile home - not a manufactured home. The difference...it was designed to move across the country, on an axle with its tires still in place underneath the skirt. I purchased it in 2016 and did the renovation myself – it took several months to make it livable, and five years to complete everything. During three of those years I moved my daughter and infant granddaughter in because it was the safest space they could be in- neighbors are the best security system!

I've reused everything I could, much of it in new and interesting ways. It's a cross between minimalist, recycled, and MidMod.

Quiet neighborhood with rural setting nearby. You can walk- be sure to keep your dogs on a leash- it's a little off the beaten path while still less than 2 miles from almost anywhere in Las Vegas, 5 miles to Storrie Lake, and easy access to the interstate.

I am an associate professor, teaching Media Arts & Technology, freelance graphic designer and also a visual artist working in mixed media, sound, video, installation - and whatever medium suits the desired outcome.

I have one dog - an one-year old Beagle named Obi-Uto (happy, enthusiastic - and he is!). He loves to travel with me when it is possible, but he has a favorite vacation spot with a friend and her 3 dogs when he can't join me.

Things I can't live without? very few – internet, fresh healthy food, and sunshine. My favorite travel destination is the beach - almost any beach, but I've enjoyed visiting other places. I like museums and galleries, history, being outdoors, the beach, water (I've done a little bit of sailing and really enjoyed it, would like to do more), I like to read a variety of things, enjoy movies, Grey's Anatomy, Ozark, Yellowstone, and getting to some new series, don't have regular television service or care to, all kinds of music but particularly fond of contemporary country and classic rock.

Mostly Keto, like an occasional hamburger, plenty of eggs. Definitely not a foodie, but I eat healthy, clean food - and sushi. Love sushi.

I prefer boutique hotels to chains (probably why I love AirBnB), out of the way places to being right in the middle of things, love to be able to walk rather than drive, enjoy being outdoors as much as possible and seeing local must-see spots. No amusement parks, just not interested (unless it’s with grandchildren).
