Planning a romantic night, a meditation retreat or a sisters' meet-up? Book your stay in our unique rustic cabin surrounded by trees and fields of moss. We have all the amenities to turn your camping stay into glamping. Head out to the river, eat at the local restaurants, bike, hike, enjoy wildlife, enjoy our collection of games/VHS/books, huddle with your pets and relax in the private hot tub!
The cabin is heated by the wood stove, pls, bring firewood and a water jug.

This tiny house was hand-built in the early 1980s by Bob, the first owner of this property, as a little escape for himself. He filled in the cabin with lots of cartoons and movies on VHS, books, vinyl records, board games and other cute items that create a unique cozy atmosphere. We keep everything untouched for you to enjoy that retro vibe.

Bedroom: You will sleep on a double bed with a warm goose-down blanket. There is a sofa-bed in the living room which can be used as a double bed. We provide the bedding and pillows/blankets. The cabin fits the best 2-3 guests.

Heating: The cabin is heated by a small woodstove, you will need to feed it hourly during the cold season. We can provide the wood, but you will need to chop it or bring your own, which is already chopped. We provide an axe and a lighter. You may also want to bring a fire starter and or kindling. There is an electric heater as a backup option. Don't worry, our guests don't freeze even at -40C as the cabin is well insulated.

Kitchen: There is a small kitchen equipped with a microwave, toaster oven, kettle, electric plate, fridge, drip coffee maker, Breville barista coffee machine and all sorts of dishes/cutlery. There is no running water in the cabin, pls, bring a water jug or you can use tap water from the bathroom. There is a propane BBQ and an outdoor fire pit for your delicious stakes and hot dogs.

Washroom: We keep the full bathroom on the 1st floor of the main house exclusively for our cabin guests. This bathroom is located 30 steps away from the cabin, right next to the hot tub, it has a separate entrance and you can use it anytime you need.

Hot tub: the hot tub is new, covered by the gazebo and surrounded by pine trees. We control the water chemical balance on a daily basis. We provide towels, spa sleepers, bathrobes and a hairdryer. We kindly ask you to take shower before getting into the spa.

Pets: your cute pups are more than welcome!

Rest easy knowing quiet hours on the property are strictly observed 10 pm-8 am

Enjoy 2.5 acres of our awesome forest with friendly deers asking for carrots!

The Rustic Cozy Cabin is part of the Bragg Creek Glamping family of retreat spaces and sits on the same property as your host's house and the Shanti Yurt (additional private guest space). Both the Cabin and the Yurt have exclusive access to their own designated outdoor areas and designated bathrooms. Hi there!
My name is Anna. For many years, we had a dream with my husband Nick to move to an acreage in Bragg Creek. On December 1st, 2021 our dream came true and we bought a beautiful acreage in the middle of a mossy forest next to a provincial pond.
Once moved, we realized that there is a unique rustic cabin on our property, which was rented through Airbnb by previous owners (https://airbnb.com/h/rusticcozycabin). The cabin has hundreds of great reviews from guests and is, in fact, one of the attractions here, in Bragg. We decided to continue hosting guests from all over the world, who seek such a unique experience. We do our best to keep up with the high standards that Laura, the previous host, has set. Also, we have carefully studied all the reviews and introduced improvements here and there in enhancing your stay.
In July 2022, we launched our new accommodation - the Shanti Yurt, a super romantic and meditative space.
