We are a little creative family (Alena & Mohamed & our son Salem) who enjoy making things beautiful with our hands! Our DIY colorful cozy home, situated in a very old traditional house in Medina, is available to anybody whose aim is to deepen the chilled feel of Essaouira and to find peace of mind. You have your completely private space including stylish bright wooden cabin with a double-bed room, spacious colorful fully equipped kitchen, big bathroom and a terrace that overloooks the town.

Our unique space is created by our hands so expect a homey cozy atmosphere with personal and artistic touch. The apartment is situated on the lower part of our terrace and is very bright. You can open two side doors of the wooden cabin and straightly enjoy sunshine although staying inside. The upper part of the terrace is shared with our second Airbnb apartment that is situated in another floor of the building.

Our apartment is located in the centre of the town. Being right in the heart of the old Medina, you are surrounded by all the entertaining stuff. Places with live evening music, delicious restaurants of all kinds, fishing port, colorful art galleries, infinite shops with Moroccan hand made goods, hammams, cozy cafés. We are just ten minutes of walking from the beach.

We are a Czech / Moroccan family (Alena & Mohamed & our son Salem) living in Essaouira. We love creating beautiful things and making places beautiful with our hands!

Alena is a 33 years old visual artist and photographer from the Czech Republic. She is interested in exploring human's mind, she likes practising yoga and vipassana meditation, she enjoys reading and walking in the nature. Her passion is art in any form.

Mohamed is 33 years old, originally from Ouarzazate, Morocco. He is a creative being by any means, musician and a handy man. Always kind, respectful and helpful. He enjoys playing basketball, making music, painting and creating upcycled decorations and other home items.

We both have plenty of hosting experiences, starting years ago by couchsurfing, continuing with managing an art hostel and ending with successfull AirBnB hosting.
