The Go Ahead Inn quickly became our first shelter on the 1990 purchase of this property. With upgrades this 320 sq foot retreat is now a lovely cottage where many have enjoyed privacy - about 60 paces from the main house. This property is next to farmland and surrounded by mountains.

Inside you will find a microwave, toaster, and coffee pot. THERE IS NO KITCHEN INSIDE. Available for your use is a lovely outdoor kitchen right next to the cottage with gas grill and sink and table and chair set plus lots of counterspace for food prep, utensils, and a trash receptacle.

The campfire pit is located a few feet from your front porch. Chairs, roasting sticks, and lighter are provided. We have plenty of firewood but please bring newspaper or fire starter.

The cottage is a large room with a shower bathroom. Metal roofing, ceramic flooring, wood walls, and front porch makes this a quiet and private place for guests. The furnishings are Queen bed, sofa, apartment size refrigerator, chair and table set, and a Hoosier cabinet where dining needs are stored. Extras include DISH TV, DVD player with some DVDs, Coffee pot, microwave, toaster, box fan, window AC, shampoo, towels, washcloths, and hair dryer.

We also supply towels for the Hot Tub located at the main house but you may want to bring sandals and robes for the short walk. The Hot Tub is for all to use but you will be enjoying it privately. Our WiFi is very weak however there is a room at the main house for WiFi usage... please ask... and also plenty of deck space for brief hook up.
