Koukouvagia is an absolute must visit place if you find yourself in Chania. Next to the graves of Venizeloi offering a stellar view to the whole Chania bay. I m not into sweets myself but some friends speak super highly about a legendary apple pie and chocolate cake.

A beautiful naturist beach with crystal clear water. There is not a lot off sand and not many places to leave your things or to sunbathe. You either have to go early or be lucky to land a nice spot. From time to time there are some boat tours that can disrupt the tranquility of this place. The sea is quite safe and without waves most of the time but there may be some sea urchins near the rocks.

A good climb to mouth of the cave for those fit enough to do so. Great views when you reach the top. Take a good bright torch if you want to venture inside!

One of the best beaches on Crete. The road to the parking is good and there is a good chance to get a parking slot close to the path as many people stay just for a couple of hours or less. There are two paths to get below. Take the one to the right. It's a good idea to wear comfortable shoes.
