We love Ziggy's Bar at the back of the hotel - ask at the main bar if you can't find it. It's been beautifully decorated and has a north-facing sitting area outside making it great for drinks and snacks both day and night.

There's not much to see in the lighthouse itself but there's a nice short walk down the wooden steps to the beach with views across the sea back to Flinders.

Parks & Nature
This is a great beach because it's really two beaches in one. Near the Surf lifesaving club you can swim between the flags, play cricket on the beach with access to the kiosk etc. Around the corner below the boat club you'll find a sheltered bay where you can take surf lessons an hour before or after high tide enjoy the beach at low tide.

If you love golf you'll love this public (and sometimes challenging) course. If you don't love golf but want to enjoy the gorgeous coastal views walk, drive or cycle around the perimeter of the course on the one way road that starts on Bass St just up the hill from the pier.

Bass StreetIf you love golf you'll love this public (and sometimes challenging) course. If you don't love golf but want to enjoy the gorgeous coastal views walk, drive or cycle around the perimeter of the course on the one way road that starts on Bass St just up the hill from the pier.
You can access this beach and reef sanctuary from the one way road leading around the perimeter of the golf course. However, I'd suggest it's only for walking/seeing the view - swimming and water sports are dangerous on this beach.

Lovely 3km walking track to the stunning Bushrangers Bay which is very popular because kangaroos are often spotted along the way. Start at the roadside car park about half way along Boneo Road, if you're heading towards Rosebud.
