From Boneo Road, it's about 1.5 hour walk to the beach, but you usually see kangaroos on the way and it's relatively flat. Bushrangers bay is beautiful, and if it's low tide the adventurous can climb elephant rock at the far end of the beach (follow others who are heading up). Only at low tide, though!! Also has great rock pools at low tide, but large waves can make the area treacherous so take care.

Bushrangers bay is beautiful, and if it's low tide the adventurous can climb elephant rock at the far end of the beach (follow others who are heading up). Only at low tide, though!! If you head down to the beach and turn right, after 15 mins you'll find yourself in Mornington. There's a fresh produce market every Wed 9 - 3 and plenty of shops, restaurants and bars. At the moment the main street is closed to traffic from the clocktower down to the beach - there are more than 3000 parking spaces in Mornington CBD, large open and undercover spaces are located on the North and South sides of Main Street. All parking is free and locations vary from 2hrs to all day free parking.

If you need a Safeway or Dan Murphy, there's one in Benton's Road on the other side of the Nepean Highway. If you're after more shops, head in to Mornington which is only 15 mins away.
