Quiet, leafy and family-friendly - Kensington is the perfect base to explore what's on offer both nearby and afar. Rich in history, the High Street has remnants of yesteryear that offers nostalgia to those who are curious of it's old past.
Perfect for families of small children, Kensington has plenty of parks and playgrounds nearby on offer. Most welcome furry paws and have BBQ facilities, so why not make a day of it!
A short stroll and you'll be on The Parade where there is an abundant of eateries to explore and boutique shops to peruse.
Going further, the beautiful wine region of McLaren Vale and the Adelaide Hills are only a short drive away. If the sun and sea are more of what you're after, there are plenty to choose from whether that's down to the local Henley Beach or the beautiful views of Port Willunga.

The coffee is on point, the pastries are flakey and buttery (oh, the madelines!) - there is simply no other place quite like it. For mains, the Steak Frites are always enticing and the french onion soup would warm the cockles of your heart. Paired with a wonderful, unique range of French and local wines, you can be assured that that quick bite you intended could easily turn into a long 3-hour lunch affair.
It is truly one of my happy places and is consistently reliable as it opens religiously at 7.30am promptly and most public holidays too!
