Another favourite walk. This is the most beautiful country side. Don’t do this walk if it has been raining though - can be very muddy!

A beautiful gentle walk that ends at the delicious Merricks General Store. But then you have to walk home up the hill...

Red Hill Rail Trail is a 6.5 km walk along the now defunct Red Hill rail line connecting Red Hill with Merricks. We suggest starting at Red Hill, walking to Merricks General Store for lunch and then arrange for someone to drive you back to Red Hill.
