Just at the end of the street is tbe entrance for tbe Hill of Pnyka where you can see the voting and debating area of the ancient democracy of Athens. Excellent view of Acropolis across the hill.

The Pnyx (Ancient Greek: Πνύξ; Greek: Πνύκα, Pnyka) is a hill in central Athens. Beginning as early as 507 BC (Fifth- century Athens), the Athenians gathered on the Pnyx to host their popular assemblies, thus making the hill one of the earliest and most important sites in the creation of democracy.
