Michelin-starred restaurant with great food and atmosphere. It’s a little pricey and reservations are hard to come by, but it’s worth the effort.

The name may sound generic, but dining here is an experience unlike any other. Since opening in 1991, The Kitchen has felt like a party from start to finish, hosted by the talented Chef Kelly McCown. Diners (celebrants are inevitably included) are encouraged to get up and walk around, maybe even peek into the kitchen to chat up the cooks.

Our only Michelin-starred restaurant, #1 in Trip Advisor. Head there on Wed.-Sat. evenings for the Demonstration Dinners - five-course meals that last 4 hours. Chefs work in full view in an open kitchen. Diners can always be sure of the freshest ingredients and innovative entrees. However all seats are booked months in advance, reservations always recommended. $$$

Like nothing you've ever experienced, The Kitchen prepares and serves a five-course prix fixe demonstration dinner menu right before your eyes, based on a monthly seasonal framework that features the best and freshest ingredients available on a daily basis, most procured locally and regionally. Dinner service also includes an interactive intermission featuring chefs' tasting stations, as well as a finale of fresh herb tea service and artisan coffee served with Dessert.
