Owner Ehren Jordan is famous for big zinfandels, but when he started Failla, he shifted his focus to chardonnays and pinot noirs. His wines here show the California sun with their bright, round opulence. Recently, he started making zinfandels again, and since that's what he built his reputation on, these are going to be some exciting wines. Tastings here are by appointment only, and the best way to schedule one is to visit their website.

Some of the best Pinot and Chardonnay you can find in Napa County (though vineyards all all Sonoma/Mendocino! Great experience as well. Reservations required.

Small producers. Intimate tasting experience. Make some of my favorite pinot noir (Burgundian style) and chardonnay with fruit primarily from Sonoma County. Similar in style Littorai in Sonoma. Purchase expected with small producers such as these.
