#7: Contemporary Acadia Cottage w/Two Double Beds (Open Hearth Inn)
Welcome to The Open Hearth Inn!
Located off Bar Harbor Road in Trenton, Maine you will be just a breath away from Acadia National Park (10 minutes for those who are counting). Cottage 7 is a quaint space with two full beds, a full bath with shower, A/C, mini-fridge, cable, television, iron/ironing board, hairdryer, coffee pot, microwave, and free wifi. This sweet room does share one adjoining wall with Cottage 8 (though both have private entrances).
As with all guests who join our Ohana, there is full access to the indoor kitchen downstairs in the main building, the outdoor kitchen and grill, full access to the common use hot tub, and the bonfire pit on the back lawn. The basis of the Open Hearth Inn is the main house, built in the 1820's it's best known for its historic charm. One of 20 rooms and everyone has plenty of space to stretch outside, gather in the old hearth room and play some board games, stretch out on the couch and watch movies on the common use 70" tv, make some new friends, and explore the real reason we call it 'Ohana'.
Acadia National Park is just a quick 10 mins down the road and the center of Bar Harbor a mere 20 mins. Experience the beauty of Mount Desert Island without the hustle and bustle of downtown Bar Harbor while still being fairly close to anything you could possibly need for the best Maine adventure. NO matter the time of year; spring, summer, autumn, or winter The Open Hearth will always be waiting for you.

#5: Suite for two in 1820's house, Shared Hot tub and outdoor kitchen! (Open Hearth Inn)
Welcome to The Open Hearth Inn!
Located off Bar Harbor Rd in Trenton, Maine you will be just a breath away from Acadia National park (10 minutes for those who are counting). Suite 5 is a perfectly cozy 2nd-floor room located in the 204-year-old main building with a queen bed and spacious full bath with a shower, television, hair dryer, and iron/ironing board within the room. As the old innkeeper's quarters, it rests at the end of the hallway of the second floor of the main building through a small curtained storage area. A fairly unique room layout makes this best suited for a single person or couple. As this room is on the second story of the historic home there is a sloped ceiling just above some storage on the left side of the bedroom across from the bed.
