We have a bus to and from the CBD. Costs $4.40 per adult per journey. Buses depart Otakou 7.10 am, 9.39 am and several times in the afternoon and early evening. Buses leave town at 8-39 am, 14.39 pm, 15-39 pm and 17-39 pm... There are some variations for weekends (a late bus 11-39 pm) and public holidays. I can let you know the rest of the timetable once you arrive.

public transport is not great, but there are buses from and to town every 20min or so.. the closest bus station is about a 10 min walk
