Awesome hike with a view of Carp and the ocean. A lot of uphill and switchbacks. 1.9 miles up to Frank’s Bench for the view but the trail goes on for many more miles.

If you're up for a more challenging uphill hike for sweeping views of the ocean, head to the Franklin Trail just at Carpinteria High School. just don't park in the school parking lot on weekdays.

Beautiful hiking or mountain biking trail. Very scenic. The start meanders around the high school and through avocado orchards, and then starts a long uphill climb. At 2 miles in you have gone up about 700ft, and reach a beautiful lookout at "Frank's Bench"

Great scenic hike with views goes 8 miles into the hills above beautiful Carpinteria! Wear good hiking shoes and bring lots of water and snacks on this day hike.

Great hiking trail with sweeping views of the coastline and Carpinteria's orchards. Easily accessible trailhead, steady climb with a few benches to rest and take in the beautiful views.
