Visit the beautiful Fabra Observatori to learn about the universe, science, discoveries and it's history! Guided tour by the scientific staff inside the Observatory that will allow you to get to know first hand all the architectural and scientific heritage of the building. You will receive explanations of all active sections: astronomy, meteorology and seismology. They will also show you the modernist room, the museum, the dome and operation of the two centuries-old telescopes, the library, the panoramic terrace with spectacular views over the city. Finally you will know the life of the farmers who lived in the building at the beginning of the 20th century. Hours: Sundays and public holidays in the morning at 11am. The visit lasts an hour and a half, approximately until 12:30. No booking required. As a precaution, the maximum capacity will be 20 people and you must wear a protective mask.

La actividad tiene lugar en el Observatorio Fabra durante los meses de verano y combina la divulgación científica y la observación astronómica con una propuesta gastronómica. Las cenas tienen lugar al aire libre, en uno de los miradores privilegiados de la ciudad de Barcelona. Después de la cena se ofrece una conferencia de divulgación científica de unos 30 minutos, con posibilidad de que el público haga preguntas. A continuación se visita el museo, la sala modernista, el telescopio de pasos y se accede a la sala de la gran cúpula, que conserva los elementos originales. Desde la cúpula observarán elementos de constelaciones lejanas, estrellas y gran parte del sistema solar, con el telescopio de 1904, uno de los más grandes y antiguos de Europa aún en funcionamiento.
