Behind Dunston Hall there’s a lovely little wood, ideal for an afternoon stroll, if you go over the little bridge you can walk up to Dunston church which overlooks Dunston golf course. We like to round off our walk with a drink or lunch in the conservatory at Dunston Hall, a stunning building and hotel. It’s about half an hours drive from the Cartlodge.
