There are lots of local breweries in the area but this is the original and the best (in my opinion). Its about a ten minute walk from home, dogs are welcome, so are kids, the beer is tasty and cheap, and the staff are really friendly. A great place to meet locals. Its got the classic Newtown grungy vibe. Great place for a few arvo frothies to kick off your evening or wind down after a day out and about. KEEP IN MIND this not a night time venue, they are a brewery with a tasting menu only so last drinks are 6.30pm and the roller door shuts at 7pm.
