Don’t be put off by the plastic décor, Ying Chow at 114 Gouger Street is an institution with Adelaide locals, this understated restaurant is where it is at for cheap and cheerful traditional Chinese and late night eats. Try the tea-smoked duck and salt-and-pepper squid with a side of BBC. You won’t regret it I promise!

When you want Chinese food mid-day to late late night. The tea smoked duck and shallot pancake are personal favourites.

My favourite Chinese in China Town. Dont let the decor fool you! Its basic but the food is worth it! Kitchen open until midnight most nights. Its always packed but the tables move quickly
