Galena Creek is at the base of 431 before driving over the hill to Tahoe. There are several great trails of varying lengths from easy 1-2 mile loops to hard 10 mile hikes with lots of elevation gain.

This parks has about 11 trails you can hike. It has a pond for fishing they stock and also has great snow shoeing too. They allow horse back riding on some of the trails and the views are spectacular.
