Although its known for its lodge and fly shop, the restaurant at Gate's is wonderful. Reservations recommended for evenings but there is lots of outdoor seating by the river and a walk up window for sandwiches. Dinners are well done. They have a phenominal chef.

Casual atmosphere - fly fishing decor and theme - amazing menu. Casual dining area overlooking the AuSable River.

Great food right on the river. Plenty of outdoor picnic tables for lunch! They take reservations for dinner. Fishing shop there to stock up on your flies!
