It’s the archaeological site of the oldest library in the city of Athens, named after the Roman Emperor Andrianos who was the one to establish it! The main building of the library was featuring two main halls for study or lectures. There was also a very large yard secluded by columns all around. The site is very close to Monastiraki, right at the heart of Athens, easy to access and worthwhile to pay a visit.

Hadrian's Library was created by Roman Emperor Hadrian in AD 132 on the north side of the Acropolis of Athens.[1][2]
The most impressive parts of the Library can be viewed from the street near the Monastiraki station. It is worth going inside if you enjoy spotting a few Roman Mosaics. There are many cats here, so it's a great spot to keep kids entertained while you soak up the Roman Corynthian columns.
